Holts Cafe at Holt Renfrew

Holts Cafe (737 Dunsmuir St) is the on-site restaurant at Holt Renfrew Vancouver. It’s a go-to spot for shoppers at Holt Renfrew to grab a bite during their time at the store. Aside from  lunch, brunch, and drinks, they offer afternoon tea by reservation.

I enjoy the upscale salon feel of the space with grey and white interiors, plush seating and low tables. The service was good on my list visit and I thought the items they offered for the afternoon tea were contemporary and elevated.

Where is a good weekDAY tea place that doesn’t require 24 hour reservations??? Vancouver kills me.

Neverland has always been hit or miss for me. Other afternoon tea places to consider in the lower mainland

- Yandoux Patisserie (Olympic Village) - Patisserie Fur Elise (Main Street) - Le Doux Ciel (Parq hotel downtown) - Adonia (Kerrisdale) - Secret Garden (Kerrisdale) - warning that I find quality of food here hit or miss - Audrey's Moment (Burnaby) - I haven't been for a while but one of the more affordable afternoon teas still available now a days - Pacific Rim Fairmont - I prefer their fusion take on afternoon tea to the regular traditional one - Laudree (Robson) - they have one but I find it overpriced for what you get. You need to pay extra for cream for your tea.

There are more but I can't recall off the top of my head at the moment.

I don't believe they do afternoon tea any more at the Fairmont Pac Rim. They used to!
