We visited the onsite restaurant at Mama Shelter Los Angeles, an eclectic hotel with an edgy and funky vibe in the heart of Hollywood.

For lunch, we tried the Gilgori “Korean Street” Toast (with cabbage, onion, onion, American cheese); Pork Belly Fried Rice Bowl (with grilled kimchi, carrots, sesame, fried egg, and ginger scallion aioli); and Chicken Pozole (a traditional Mexican stew with shredded chicken breasts, hominy, avocado, cilantro and tostada).

The Pork Belly Fried Rice Bowl had bold, spicy flavours while the Chicken Pozole was a comforting chicken stew. The Gilgori Toast was a fun sandwich with a lot of cheese.
