Daan Go, a concept by Chef Christopher Siu (Season 7 Master Chef Canada winner), is now open in Richmond BC. This marks the brand’s first expansion to the West. Their other locations in the Greater Toronto Area (Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, Richmond Hill and Mississauga).

On the menu are a variety of cake slices, whole cakes, cookies, macarons, pastries and more. Their aesthetic space in Richmond makes for a great place to gather with friends and enjoy a drink (like Hong Kong Milk Tea) along with their treats.


What We Tried

Assorted Character Macarons – Salted Caramel, Blueberry, Pandan, Roasted Milk Tea, Hong Kong Milk Tea, Hazelnut Chocolate


Ramen Bowl (Pudding Noodles, Coffee Jelly, Milk Chocolate Mousse, Chiffon Cubes, Caramel Syrup, Diced Caramelized Pears)

3:15 Cake Slice (Hong Kong Milk Tea Mousse, Vietnamese Coffee Crémeux, Evaporated Milk Crémeux, Ovaltine “Pineapple Bun” Crumb Crunch)

Black Sesame Croissant

On a revisit, we tried the following:
Bobalicious featuring vanilla chiffon; oolong custard; brown sugar cookie; okinawa sugar gel; brown sugar mochi; wafer straw in a white chocolate cup.

Berry Garden Slice with a berry chiffon, mixed berries confit, mixed berries namelaka, white chocolate berry mousse with strawberries.

Croissants – their croissants are quite large for the price of $4. Very buttery and flaky.

We found their items delicious, not too sweet and well-made.
