Valentine’s Day San Antonio 2023
Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk
Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk, a newly-renovated hotel located next to the Alamo in the heart of the city’s River Walk, announces the “Locks of Love” Valentine’s Day experience. Through the program, guests receive special romance-inspired amenities to enhance their holiday getaway, including a “Love Lock” that they can place on the hotel’s “Lover’s Bridge” to commemorate the holiday.
When guests stay at Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk during the month of February, they can reserve the “Locks of Love” offer. Through the promotion, guests receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a box of gourmet chocolate truffles delivered with rose petals. Guests also receive a “Love Lock” that they can decorate and customize then place on the hotel’s “Lover’s Bridge” which is located over the flowing fountain in the hotel’s atrium.

In addition to the hotel’s “Lover’s Bridge,” Downtown San Antonio is home to several romantic destinations including Marriage Island, a small island on the River Walk where more than 360 weddings ceremonies take place each year; Selena Bridge, where Chris Perez proposed to famous Tejana singer Selena Quintanilla; and the “Johnny Loves Vivian” bench, where John Cash proclaimed his love to Vivian Liberto by carving their name into a bench now located in the B. Naylor Morton Research and Collection Center.

To spice things up this Valentine’s Day, couples are invited to sample the spicy tastes of Texas at one of the hotel’s restaurants, Cibolo Moon. Cibolo Moon offers an enticing pairing of Rosa’s Salsa and a Strawberry Margarita. The flavors of fresh tomatoes and peppers in the house-made salsa pair well with the mineral, floral, and fruity notes in the tequila used in the refreshing Strawberry Margarita. Cibolo Moon’s bartenders have shared the cocktail recipe for those that are staying in on Valentine’s Day and want to have a special cocktail to enjoy with a loved one or group of Galentines.
Cibolo 75 Cocktail Recipe:
- 0.75 oz. Strawberry Syrup
- 0.75 oz. Desert Door Sotol
- 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
Shake the ingredients together and add:
- Prosecco to taste
- Top with 0.75 oz of St. Germaine

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Ambler Texas Kitchen + Cocktails on Friday, February 10; Saturday, February 11; and Tuesday, February 14. The Southern-inspired restaurant with a menu paying homage to the Lone Star State will offer their regular menu on Friday and Saturday with special Valentine’s Day menu offerings available. On Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14, Ambler will offer a prix-fixe menu, which will be the only menu available that evening. Live music will set the mood each night.

On Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, Ambler will offer Butter Poached Lobster and Roasted Lamb Loin in addition to their regular menu.
For Valentine’s Day, the pre-fixe Valentine’s Day menu features a multi-course menu with a choice from dishes such as Seared Gulf Snapper, Beeman Family Ranch Wagyu Filet Mignon, and Roasted Lamb Loin. A champagne cocktail will be included with the meal, along with dessert featuring a Shokabella Chocolate Bombe. The prix-fixe dinner is available for $150 per person or $225 with wine pairings added.

Pluckers Wing Bar is the place to go for all your heart’s desires. On Tuesday, February 14, Pluckers is offering guests $1 wings and $2 select beer to fill the holes in their love life.
Ladino
Ladino is offering a Valentine’s Day multi-course mediterranean inspired tasting menu on February 14. Priced at $115 per person. Will focus on seasonal Texas produce and traditional Mediterranean fare with a modern take perfectly paired with wines selected highlighting the region.
SILO Elevated Cuisine – Alamo Heights
