This year, from September 1st to 14th, Le Burger Week is going plant-based, to bring you all the vegan-burger deliciousness, launching Canada’s largest plant-based burger festival!
The renowned food festival will be the largest burger event ever staged in Canada, with over 400 participating restaurants across the country.
This year, Montreal-based chef, restauranteur, and TV host Kimberly Lallouz will be the official ambassador for Le Burger Week 2022.
This year, the beloved restaurant festival will host an expected over 400 restaurant participating restaurants across many Canadian provinces including Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick – making this the largest annual burger event ever held in Canada!
On September 1st, plant-based burger-lovers all over Canada will be able to rejoice and dive face-first into the best plant-based burgers our country has to offer.
Le Burger Week’s mission has always been to promote local restaurant communities by raising sales and visibility through festival participation, as well as connecting burger-lovers to discover new favorites.
LE BURGER WEEK’S FIRST EVER PLANT-BASED EDITION
Over the years, Le Burger Week has seen a strong demand for meat alternatives, such as vegetarian and vegan burgers.
This year, the beloved burger festival wanted to create a platform where chefs can get creative and have fun by making a plant-based burger that is delicious enough to convince even the absolute meat-lovers!
The goal is to get chefs and restaurants to try something new, or promote an existing option, and to get people to try it out!

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Le Burger Week was founded by Na’eem Adam and Thierry Rassam in 2012.
A friendly debate between the Montreal-Entrepreneurs on which restaurants serve the best burgers turned into a nationwide contest to find the best ones in each city.
Fast-forward 11 years; Le Burger Week has become the largest burger festival across the world, with 500,000+ yearly participants and over 1,500 participating restaurants across Canada.
