DQ Canada is bringing the blind-box trend to dessert fans with Mystery Blizzard Buddies, a limited-edition collection of plushie keychains inspired by Blizzard Treats. The collection is available for $6 per keychain as an add-on to any purchase, with five characters to collect and rare Golden Plushies hidden in select packages.
Each Mystery Blizzard Buddy comes in sealed packaging, keeping the character a surprise until the package is opened. Customers can add one to their order, but the mystery format means they will not know which design they are taking home. The keychains are available while supplies last.
The Golden Plushies come with a chance to win free Blizzard Treats for a year, subject to verification and the official contest rules. There are 10 Canadian prizes available, each awarded as DQ gift cards with an approximate retail value of $1,025 CAD. The prize is a set gift card amount rather than unlimited treats.
The contest is open to eligible Canadian residents aged 18 and older, excluding Quebec, who are DQ Rewards members at the time of participation. The promotion runs through October 31, 2026, or while supplies last, with prize claims due by November 30, 2026. The collectible promotion accompanies the Spellbound Series, DQ Canada’s limited-time Halloween menu featuring a sparkling drink and an ube-flavoured Blizzard.
The Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler combines lemonade with tart blood orange flavour and a cold foam topping. Stirring the sparkling beverage creates a bubbling effect, adding a Halloween touch to the citrus drink.
The Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat blends OREO cookie pieces and an ube-flavoured base with DQ soft serve, finished with a purple shimmer swirl. The seasonal version brings sweet ube flavour to the familiar cookie-filled dessert.
The Spellbound Series is available through November 1, 2026. DQ Rewards members can visit the Spellbound Secret Lair in the DQ App to play a daily memory game for chances to win DQ gift cards, bonus DQ Points and other rewards.
