Located in the heart of Steveston Village, Cannery Cafe is a casual Richmond restaurant serving brunch, comfort food, and generously portioned dishes made for sharing. The restaurant is found at 3711 Moncton Street, close to Steveston’s waterfront, local shops, and popular attractions.
The restaurant offers three shareable brunch board options starting at $58 for two people. Each board can be customized for larger groups by paying an additional amount per guest, making this a fun option for families, celebrations, or a weekend meal with friends.
We visited as a group of four and tried the most premium brunch board, which starts at $128 for two people.
Our Brunch Board for Four
The table quickly filled with a wide selection of brunch dishes, seafood, meat, sides, and lighter items. Our spread included:

The Garlic Prawn Rösti featured crispy potato rösti topped with prawns, giving us a mix of savoury seafood and crunchy potatoes. The Smoked Salmon Benedict added a familiar brunch favourite to the board, complete with eggs and smoked salmon.
The lobster tails and sirloin steak made the premium board feel more like a brunch feast than a typical breakfast platter. The chicken wings were easy to share, and the clam chowder offered something warm and comforting between bites.
The garden salad and yogurt cups helped balance the richer dishes. There was plenty of variety, and everyone could try different items rather than choosing only one entrée.
Everything was good quality, filling, and fun to share. The large presentation made the meal feel festive, and the amount of food worked well for our group of four.
