They also offer 12 comfortable guest rooms and a welcoming atmosphere making it an ideal accommodation in the Rockies.
Truffle Pigs Bistro is known for its creative dishes, showcasing the best local ingredients. During our visit, we tried the Steelhead Trout. The seared 5oz Kuttera trout was served over a zucchini and cherry tomato pearl couscous salad, complemented by a rich romesco sauce and seasonal vegetables. The combination of flavours was vibrant, with the trout perfectly balanced by the freshness of the couscous and vegetables.
Another dish we enjoyed was the Pork and Spätzle. The herb and panko-crusted pork tenderloin rested atop house-made black pepper spätzle, accompanied by charred broccolini and a house tomato caper sauce. Grated padano finished the dish, adding a savoury touch that paired beautifully with the tender pork.
They also offer a kid’s menu and we got the Mini Burger and the Cheese Pizza.
Truffle Pigs Lodge serves as an excellent base for outdoor adventures in Yoho National Park, with easy access to the park’s famous trails and vistas. With only 12 rooms, the lodge offers an intimate and peaceful environment. Each room provides a cozy respite, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Yoho’s natural wonders.
