Wine Spectator unveiled its annual 2024 Restaurant Award Winners, which includes TULĀ at the newly opened Amrit Ocean Resort, earning an Award of Excellence.

TULĀ, which launched in tandem with the hotel’s official opening in May 2024, is the beachfront luxury wellness resort’s signature restaurant that combines traditional South Florida coastal cuisine with global influences from the Mediterranean and Japan with a focus on modern, vegetable-forward dishes. Located on the main lobby level, the restaurant offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests have the option to dine in the inviting indoor dining room or on the terrace, where they can enjoy the sounds of the ocean in the background. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
TULĀ’s extensive wine list combines Old World and New World vintages with a focus on organic, sustainable and biodynamic bottles from both classic and emerging wine regions. Led by Amrit’s Executive Director of Food and Beverage Harvinder Singh, alongside Director of Outlets Sebastiaan Gorissen, the beverage and culinary teams collaborate to ensure that the wine list complements the food and includes a variety of choices that appeal to every palate.
In line with Amrit’s health and wellness ethos, TULĀ carries wines that are organic, biodynamic, and low in sulfites. The program also echoes the property’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices, sourcing wines from producers who prioritize environmental stewardship and responsible production methods. For example, TULĀ’s house champagne is Telmont Champagne Brut Reserve from the French House of Telmont, which embraces environmentally friendly practices and efforts to reduce its carbon footprint throughout the production cycle. This includes sustainable agriculture techniques designed to minimize chemicals and promote biodiversity and energy-efficient practices in winemaking, transportation and packaging. The sustainability efforts also extend to social responsibility, with initiatives that support local communities and promote ethical business practices.
