The Willard at AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown: Art In Bloom-Inspired Craft Cocktail Menu

The Willard, the rooftop lounge at the AC Hotel Raleigh Downtown, has unveiled its annual menu of craft cocktails inspired by the North Carolina Museum of Art’s popular, annual event, Art in Bloom, presented by PNC.

The cocktails will be available during the annual event from Wednesday, March 13, through Sunday, March 17, 2024. A portion of the proceeds from cocktail sales will be donated to the museum.

In the same way that floral designers interpret works of art in the museum’s collection for Art in Bloom, presented by PNC, The Willard’s bartenders were inspired to create cocktails as delicious as they are stunning. Here is the trio of artfully crafted cocktails:

Piano

Matcha-infused Patrón, half and half, white chocolate paint, and a diamond meringue float

Simple and refined, this cocktail was inspired by the painting “Piano (for Duke Ellington)” by artist Robert Moskowitz. Available to order: March 13, 16 and 17.

Bacardi Ocho Rum; house-made strawberry-mint syrup; lime; and a black lava salt, gold, and lime rim. With striking bold colors and eye-catching shapes, this cocktail was inspired by the painting “Pigeon” by Elizabeth Murray. Available to order: March 15-17.
