Today was a beautiful Canada Day for the 76th annual Steveston Salmon Festival Celebration!

The day featured excitement with the return of the legendary parade as well as the famous Chow Mein and Salmon Bake.

There was an array of locally-made cuisine for all tastes including food trucks and participating Community Food Stations.

The Japanese Cultural Show represented and celebrated the Japanese community’s contributions to the fabric of Steveston.

The Marketplace featured local vendors and goods and there were lots of family-friendly performances and hands-on activities in Steveston Park.

Here are some more photo highlights of my day at the Steveston Salmon Festival.
