McDonald's Canada Rewards: Get a Free Medium Hot Drink or Fries

McDonald’s Canada has revamped their McDonald’s Rewards program to include their World Famous Fries.

This means that when you buy 7 any size hot McCafé beverages or any size fries, you can get a medium hot beverage or medium fries FREE!

How to collect and earn McDonald’s Canada Rewards?

In order to collect and earn through the app, you need to download, register and activate the McDonald’s app on your mobile device.

At the restaurant

Before you pay, simply tap on your Rewards card in the McDonald’s app (Apple or Google Play) to access your QR code. Scan your code when you buy an applicable menu item at the front counter, kiosk or drive-thru.

With mobile ordering

Tap your Rewards card in the McDonald’s app to start your order and it will be automatically applied.

Which items are valid?

You can earn McDonald’s rewards on the following menu items purchased à la carte or as part of a meal or pairing:

Any size hot McCafé beverages (including latte, cappuccino, mocha, Americano, brewed coffee, tea and Deluxe Hot Chocolate)
Any size World Famous Fries

Not valid on single espresso and double espresso, poutine or other fry offerings.

What can you redeem?

You can redeem your rewards for the following:

Medium size hot McCafé beverage (including single espresso, double espresso, latte, cappuccino, mocha, Americano, brewed coffee, tea or Deluxe Hot Chocolate)
Medium size World Famous Fries

Not valid on poutine or other fry offerings. Redemption not available with meals or pairings, or with any other offer, discount or coupon. Valid at participating McDonald’s restaurants in Canada. Product availability varies by restaurant. Not valid with McDelivery orders.

How do you redeem?

At the restaurant

To redeem your free menu item at the front counter, kiosk or drive-thru, scan your free McDonald’s Rewards offer found in the “Offers” section of the McDonald’s app.

With mobile ordering

To redeem your free menu item using mobile ordering, select your free McDonald’s Rewards offer found in the “Offers” section of the McDonald’s app, then select “Start your order” and choose your free menu item.
