This holiday season might look a bit different compared to previous ones but there’s always reasons to eat, drink and be thankful. Here is a list of restaurants and businesses in Whistler that have special Christmas Whistler 2020 offerings this year.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is offering the following Christmas Day Dining:

Christmas Day A La Carte Breakfast | 7:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
The Wildflower’s breakfast is a delicious start to your festive celebrations. First come, first served (no reservations for this breakfast).
Christmas Day Dinner at The Wildflower | 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The Wildflower is serving up a festive and fun evening with a four-course dinner. $129 Adults, $49 Children 6-12 years. Reservations required.
Christmas Day Dinner in the Grill Room| 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Warmed by a crackling fire, a romantic evening in the Grill Room awaits featuring a five-course, gourmet feast. $169 Adults. Reservations required.

The Four Seasons Resort Whistler is offering the following Christmas dining options:

Christmas Eve Dinner at Sidecut Steakhouse | 5:30 pm – 9 pm or 8 pm – 10 pm. 3-course menu. $170 Adults
Christmas Day Dinner at Sidecut Steakhouse | 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm or 8 pm – 10 pm. 4-course menu. $195 Adults, $100 Children 5 – 11 years, $50 Children (up to 4 years)

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

Fairmont Chateau Whistler Portobello’s Festive Feast To-Go is available December 20 – January 1. There is choice of Prime Rib or Turkey packages, serving 6 -8 people.

Prime Rib | $399 plus applicable taxes
Menu includes slow-roasted prime rib, festive seasonal salad, buttermilk mashed potatoes, maple candied yams, grainy mustard dressed Brussels sprouts, roasted root vegetables, peppercorn gravy, a holiday yule log and all the trimmings.
Turkey | $299 plus applicable taxes
Menu includes slow-roasted, free-range turkey, festive seasonal salad, buttermilk mashed potatoes, maple candied yams, grainy mustard dressed Brussels sprouts, roasted root vegetables, cranberry sauce, holiday stuffing, gravy and a holiday yule log.

A minimum of 72 hours notice, and a full, non-refundable prepayment required at time of booking.

Bearfoot Bistro

Bearfoot Bistro is offering Holiday Turkey to go for pickup or delivery on December 24, 25, and 25 12 pm – 6 pm. Priced at $78 per person and a 6 person minimum. Delivery fee is $50 within Whistler.

Alta Bistro

Alta Bistro is offering Christmas Dinner at Home priced at $40 for pickup. The dinner includes:

Roasted turkey leg Ballantine & roasted breast, smoked pork ham, maple & orange glaze, apple & calvados gravy, braised red cabbage, stuffing, brussels, pomme Anna, roasted pemberton vegetables and all the trimmings. Finished with Christmas inspired dessert.

Festive Dining

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is offering Snow Globe Dining Domes where guests will feel cozy in mountain chic décor that features fur throws, cushions, and blankets highlighted by fairy lights.

Unique to Whistler, the winter dining Snow Globes will be situated on the Chateau’s Wildflower patio near the base of Blackcomb Mountain.

Guests may indulge in a five-course gourmet menu prepared by Derek Bendig, Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s executive sous chef ($210 per person).

Bendig’s menu is paired with featured beverages from partners Stella Artois, Fever Tree, Roche Winery & Vineyards and Blasted Church.

The Snow Globes are available for small groups up to six people with seatings daily from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. The minimum spend is $840.

Other Romantic Restaurants in Whistler

Hy’s Steakhouse

Hy’s Steakhouse is offering a Holiday Dinner ($119.95 per person) which includes four-course dinner includes Hy’s signature cheese toast, Caesar salad, a choice of New York, Filet or Rib Steak, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach maple-glazed carrots, and a festive cheesecake for dessert. This is available for takeout and delivery via UberEats.

They also offer a Cocktail Party (prices vary) featuring bite-sized selections such as chilled jumbo prawns, shaved roast beef sliders, grilled lamb chops, mushroom & goats cheese tarts, Amaretto white chocolate truffles, and more are available to order by the half or full dozen. Cocktail Party items require pre-ordering 24 hours in advance, please call to order.

The Keg Steakhouse
