The Hotel Belmont Vancouver is hosting CHOP SUEY CHOW CLUB, a one-month kitchen takeover by Chef William Lew and Chef Sharon Chan (MAMAintheKitchen). This limited-time pop-up until July 31 is more than just a dining experience, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the legacy and resilience of Chinatown food culture.

Rooted in memory and family, the menu reimagines nostalgic dishes from Hong Kong cafés and Chinese-Canadian diners, with bold storytelling layered into every bite. Chef Will Lew honours his grandfather, the former culinary chef at Vancouver Chinatown’s iconic Ho Ho, while Chef Sharon draws on her family’s history running hybrid Hong Kong cafés in Shanghai and Atlanta during the 1990s.

What to Expect
CHOP SUEY CHOW CLUB runs Wednesday to Sunday, from 4PM to late, with live DJ sets on Friday and Saturday nights to round out the vibe.
