Olympic Village has been a vibrant and up-and-coming area of Vancouver with new businesses opening up shop in the neighbourhood. The dining scene in Olympic Village is certainly emerging with restaurants like The Flying Pig and Bao Down opening locations there. New to the area is Wildtale Coastal Grill (165 W 2nd Ave) in which their Yaletown location is known for serving wild and fresh seafood dishes up in a warm and friendly atmosphere, paired with great wines, local beers and creative cocktails. Wildtale’s Olympic Village restaurant is located next to their sister restaurant, the Flying Pig. I was invited to a grand opening celebration last night where attendees enjoyed oysters, lobster rolls, lamb chops, beef sliders and more. Here’s are a few photos from the fun evening.
