Hey Vancouver foodies, want a free lunch? On Tuesday, June 7, Le Tigre, Super Thai Food and Meet2Eat are participating in a recipe challenge and offering a free lunch to the public. The event is held at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza at the corner of West Georgia and Hamilton Street from 11 am to 2 pm. The recipe challenge is sponsored by Uncle Ben’s Rice & Grains products who is promoting their new line of products featuring nutritious ancient grains like bulgur and quinoa.
Vancouver foodies are invited to sample all three offerings, and vote for their favourite. Once challenges have wrapped up in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, the winning dish from each city will be served nation-wide on the Official UNCLE BEN’S® Rice & Grains Food Truck.
