Hi everyone! In my next series of posts, I will be sharing with you some of the adventures from my recent vacation. It all started when I was the lucky winner of the #shangri5diamond contest last year. My amazing prize included airfare to Toronto and a one-night stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto. In today’s post, I will share with you my experience at the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto.
Comfort and Luxury
I traveled with my husband and son and it was our first time staying at a Shangri-La hotel. Needless to say, everything exceeded our expectations. The Shangri-La Toronto’s luxury guestrooms are among the largest in Canada and we were impressed with the size of our room considering the expensive real estate of Downtown Toronto along with these downtown toronto apartments. The hotel and guest room both emanated luxury and elegance. I loved the Asian-inspired décor and the overall residential feel of the hotel.
The size of the modern marble bathroom was very generous. It had a deep soaking tub and separate glass-enclosed shower with L’Occitane bath products.
Other media and entertainment amenities included a 46-inch LCD flatscreen television, an iPod docking station and an iPad. Most importantly, we slept fantastically well because the bed was so cozy.
Top Notch Service
The service at the hotel was exceptional from the friendly front desk and concierge staff to housekeeping and valet. One notable incident was when I was resting in a seating area on my floor and a housekeeping staff approached me and offered me some water.
Overall Impression of Shangri-La Toronto
We really enjoyed our comfortable and luxurious stay at the 5-star Shangri-La Toronto. I would certainly love to stay there again in the future during another visit to Toronto. Thanks again to the lovely staff at the Shangri-la Toronto for making our experience and visit to Toronto so memorable!
