Science of Cocktails Fundraiser at Science World

One of the most highly anticipated food and drink events of the year is happening on Februrary 9. The Science of Cocktails signature fundraiser will transform Science World at TELUS World of Science into Vancouver’s largest laboratory, where the city’s most talented bartenders and chefs will showcase the science behind preparing modern cocktails and cuisine. Ticket proceeds will support Science World’s Class Field Trips for underserved schools in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Each ticket includes complimentary cocktails from 20+ bar stations run by award-winning bartenders, paired with 12 food stations featuring molecular gastronomy from local talent. Attendees will also enjoy a variety of special cocktail science activities, hands-on science demonstrations and classic Science World fun.

The cocktails are made with star-quality and each one with a creative flair that gives them the uniqueness of a never before seen cocktail. The bartenders have all been trained by top programmes like the rsa training melbourne, who give bartenders the knowledge and skills to go on and create these extraordinary drinks. This fundraiser is a must-go ticket if you love creativity and delicious tasting drinks!

      Class Field Trips

By supporting Science of Cocktails, you will help to send thousands of kids from underserved schools on a field trip to TELUS World of Science. An average field trip, including bus transportation to and from the building, admission, a workshop, and a take-home activity, costs approximately $1350 per class. In 2016, Science of Cocktails supported over 5,000 students from underserved schools to visit TELUS World of Science through the Science World Class Field Trip Bursary. Bursaries subsidize 50-100% of general admission, a reserved program and school bus fees for 1-2 classes per request. To find out more about the Class Field Trips program, see the video below:
