For all you chocolate aficionados out there, there is a new Royce’ Chocolate kiosk at Oakridge Centre. This new Royce’ store is the second in Metro Vancouver with the first one having opened at Richmond Centre earlier this year. Founded in 1983 in Sapporo, Japan, Royce’ Chocolate showcases how Japan does chocolate. Their delicious products have been available mostly in Asia.
Oakridge Kiosk
The new Oakridge Kiosk is located right near Murale/The Gap in the mall’s East Galleria. See the mall’s interactive map here for the location of Murale (map not yet updated for Royce’).
I was invited to their grand opening at Oakridge Centre yesterday. Much like the one at Richmond Centre, the Royce’ kiosk is modern and chic with products presented in display cases. There were many tantalizing goodies available including potato chip chocolates, popcorn chocolates, nama chocolates, fruit chocolate bars, and maccha chocolates. Most products are priced around $20.
I received the popular nama chocolate maccha as a media gift and they are oh-so-delicious! They just melt in your mouth and leave you lingering for more. White chocolate with an herbal aroma and the bittersweet finish of real green tea leaves. Absolutely recommend it especially for green tea lovers.
