White Wine Sangria

Ingredients: 

  • 1 bottle Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 
  • 1 ½ cups white cranberry juice (Note: regular cranberry juice works perfectly if you can’t find white.) 
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced 
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced 
  • 4 to 6 thyme sprigs, for garnish 
  • 1 can lemon flavored club soda 

Directions: 

Add one bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, 1 ½ cups white cranberry juice, and 1 thinly sliced lime to a large pitcher and stir to combine. Pour into wine glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a thyme sprig. Makes approximately 4-6 cocktails.

Cabernet Sauvignon Hot Chocolate

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup of water 
  • 2 cups 2% milk 
  • ½ cup of Cabernet Sauvignon (We recommend using the Bodacious or Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Cab Sauv!) 
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chunks 
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 
  • ½ cup of whipped cream 

Directions:  

Bring water to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in the 2% milk, Cabernet Sauvignon, chocolate chunks, cocoa powder and sugar. Stir until fully combined and mixture is creamy and thickened, about five minutes. Divide hot chocolate between mugs. Top with whipped cream. Makes approximately 4 cups.

Pinot Noir Hot Peppermint Mocha Shots

Ingredients: 

  • 4 oz Pinot Noir (We recommend the Kim Crawford or Inniskillin Pinot Noir!) 
  • 3 Tbsp powdered baking cocoa or sweet ground chocolate 
  • 3 oz hot coffee 
  • ¾ oz Crème de Cacao (brown or white) 
  • ¾ oz Crème de Menthe 
  • Dollop whipped cream (optional) 

Directions:  

Pre-warm small insulated “shot” cups. In a saucepan, combine baking cocoa with hot coffee to make into a rich syrup. Add Crème de Cacao, Crème de Menthe and Pinot Noir and stir until ingredients are hot. Pour into pre-warmed cups in 2-3 oz servings. Garnish with a small dollop of whipped cream.

Inniskillin Icewine Martini

Ingredients: 

Directions: 

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Inniskillin Vidal Icewine and vermouth. Shake sharply and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon slice and sage leaf.
