Bread baked with love and no artificial colours or flavours? Sounds perfect to me. Arnold Bread is a premium West Coast bread made in four delicious and nutritious varieties including Country Potato, 12 Grains, Oatnut and 100% Whole Wheat. You can find Arnold Bread throughout Western Canada at retailers such as Safeway, Walmart and Sobeys. They typically retail for around $5.50 a loaf.
Last month, two of Vancouver’s most talented young chefs were engaged in a “breadly” competition where they showcased different ways to enjoy Arnold Bread. Josh Gale (Master Chef competitor and Head Chef at Vancouver’s Wildebeest) and Trevor Bird (Top Chef Canada runner-up and Head Chef at Fable Kitchen) vyed for the title of Top #Breadie! Their creations were featured on Arnold Bread’s Instagram account. Huge congrats to Chef Trevor Bird being the Top #Breadie!
One of the recipes that I tried was Chef Josh Gale’s S’Wheat Dreamin’ of a BLT.
It was a fully loaded sandwich made with Arnold’s S’Wheat Dreams bread, tomatoes, avocado, eggs, bacon, lettuce, mayo, and maple syrup.
And a little yolk action after-shot….It was an absolutely scrumptious sandwich!
